Ok here goes, I have XP pro with 5 partitons on 1 drive I used partiton Magic 8 to join the C partiton and another. Half way though it failed and the recovery disk did nothing. So I took a new HD installed XP on it and put the old HD as a slave. But when I looked at the slave dribe it only showed a 10 ig partiton of a 80 gig drive and the 10 gig part was empty. So how do I recover the remaining drives?
Basically, when Partition Magic fails, it mangles the partitions on the drive on which it was working. Using special software, you may be able to retreive some data, but I'd suggest just going to your backups.
