hard drive wont respond

I need youre help guys.. as soon as i turn on the tower on my PC it runs the fan. motherboard , and cd drive, but the screen remains blank. I tried opening the PC to see if anything is out of the ordinary, but everything seems to be well connected. I tried dissconnecting and re-connecting the RAM and the hard drive, but still get the blank screen...can any one help me ????please......

Check and make sure your PSU fan is turning. Also, check around the CPU for any swollen capacitors. Have you got another video card you can check with as well?

i tried installing the hd on my other pc and he hd didnt respond.
