Computer shuts down as soon as you log in

Maybe someone can help with this one...

I turn on my XP computer. It boots up to the log in screen.

I click my icon to log in and it says loading your personal settings...

(just the way is is supose to)

BUT then, it shuts down a half a second later saying saving your personal settings...

Cant get into safe mode either.. does the same thing!!!

This is not a heat problem,
This is not a lose wire problem,

It is most likely a virus/worm that i never heard of before.

Please help if someone had the same problem and fixed it!

That happened before when I found out that my little brother erased the program files folder, and I do not how but ever since he did that I tried to log in and it happned just as you said.
