What Should i do with my memory?

Currently i have one stick of Ultra PC2100 512MB. I am running a XP2400 Chip. In the future i want to get a better chip but i will also need faster memory. I was thinking of upgrading my memory now so i will get a small system boost and when the time comes i will be ready for a XP3200. What i need to know is what is the cheepest memory i can get that is 1GB (would like to have pc3200 or better) it would be nice if it was dual channel, and i want a name brand. I was looking in the range of 100 - 150. I can get 70 - 90 for my ram on ebay(it seems to be a hot item) and i can add some to that later.

Please give me some ideas.

Dual channel = two sticks

I'd suggest getting a 512MB stick of PC3200 (or whatever floats your boat) and replace your existing stick when you get the new processor.

I know dual channel is two sticks. So i was looking for two sticks of 512 so i can run dual channel making 1GB. New egg has some kits for 180 - 200 range. Has any one seen any thing cheeper or have a better idea?
