Format Toshiba A45-S130 Laptop
I have a Toshiba A45-S130 with Window XP Home. I tried to reformat the hard drive using Windows 2000 setup disk. Then I was going to upgrade to Windows XP Professional. For some reason it will only fomat 52% and lock up. I can not use any floppy boot disk being that I don't have a floopy drive.

The reason I don't want to install the recovery disk is because I want to eliminate the extra crap they put on it.

Any help would be appriciated!!!!!!!
