Second Hard Drive question

Hey all. I'm new here.

At any rate, I just installed a 90GB hard drive onto my computer (running XP) which already had a 60GB hard drive. I slaved the 90GB drive to the 60GB. Now my computer is running incredibly slow. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help that comes my way.

Did you format and partition the 90?

Are both file systems the same ie: NTFS, NTFS, or are they NTFS, FAT32?

Did you set the jumpers right?

Which driver is faster? be sure to set the fater drive to master, and slower to slave.

If al else fails try conecting the second h/d to a different cable.
