Hi everyone. I have a dvd-cdrw combo drive that was pulled from a working hp 533w unit that was bought used. The drive is being recognized by windows but any disc loaded is not being seen. The discs will spin but no action. Could the problem be in that the laser has gone out or what? The drive is a black phillips 16x/10x40x10x model phcdd5101. The system has since been parted out and just hate to junk the drive if it can be saved. Any answers and suggestions is appreciated.
