Losing time and computer running slowly

I need some help. I think I just left this message in the reply window. Sorry, new to all of this.

I have been having some problems with my computer.
I recently had a virus got rid of it and bought norton 2004.

When I had did a scan about 2 weeks later, I noticed that there was adware and spyware on my computer. I went to the norton website and printed off how to remove it from my computer.

I did that but with one, I deleted the whole folder instead of 1 file.

Then I had to reformat my computer, which I did. But ever since I have done that, my computer is running slow, losing time, its driving me crazy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
