Random (maybe) reboots..tied to TYPING??

Hi all. I've got an Athlon 733mhz box that is acting up. It's been randomly rebooting (or so I thought). I've done the searching on the subject and I too thought PS first. I replaced the PS but it's still happening.

I looked in the event logs and viola, there seems to be an disk error happening. It says something to the effect of disk controller error. My guess now is that it's the on-board IDE controller. Make sense? I'm going to try a PCI controller and see if that clears things up. Do I need to/can I disable the onboard one all together?
