Status Code 1073741819

Dear Friends,

My computer is acting very strange. It shuts down after awhile and it acts exactly like the RPC reboot virus...

This is the error msg "status code 1073741819" I have found the "remedy" however is for Windows 2000.

I am asking if u would know the appropiate update file for Windows XP pls..

Please help as its really really annoying to have my com restarted..

Not usre, but that relates to LSASS.exe, which is the target of the Sasser worm. Are you behind a firewall? Have the latest security patches? If not, you might wanna check here.

Otherwise, not sure what is going on. MS doesn't list any XP links for that status code.
