At startup, after a few lines, I am getting press F1 TO RESUME. after I strike the F1 key, all ok the system load and function ok

sounds like a bios thing, what is the error message BEFORE "press f1 to resume"?

That usually happens when something has not fucntioned correctly. by pushing F1 your just telling it to carry on booting regardless...
Is all the hardware on properly? such as floppy etc
