What the heck?

I know ads on websites is the norm now, and the ones on the main pages here arent too bad. Why the heck are they smack dab in the middle of the threads though?! Couldnt they be above or below them? I think its pretty lame and fairly obtrusive. I'd post a screeny, but they're hard to miss!
