USB for front of case

I am getting a new computer,
asus A7N8X-E
AMD +2500
128 mb 9600 video card
512 mb ram

And i want to put usb on the front of my case. But I don't want to put it in the drive bays. Is there a way to do it?

It depends on the case you get
I got a chieftec case that comes with a spot for 2 USB ports and a firewire port
Then IF your mobo has a seperate connection spot open for it you should be OK
I have a MSI K7N2 Delta and it has the 2 USB connects in the back, plus a open pins on the mobo for the front USB ports.

Most cases have two 3.5" bays, and who needs both. Perfect spot for a USB hub, if you ask me. No little annoying door to get in the way.

Bah! Your plugs are up in the middle of the case! How's that neat?

Mine's cooler, just as functional, and cost $0.00 (The ports came with the motherboard for use at the rear of the machine.)

said he didn't want a drivebay one. how about something like a 4port hub which come on a wire. use a sticky foam pad to stick it to your computer if you want.

I only use the front ports for temporary connections so the little door is no big deal to me. My drive bays are also behind a door so a drive bay hub would work no better for me. I use a 4 port hub on the back to extend my available rear ports.
