Floppy drive not A:
I know I've seen this issue posted here before, but I cannot find it now, so I apologize in advance if this has indeed been discussed. And if it has, please don't hesitate to throw a link to the discussion as a response.
Anyway, I have a Gateway 9300 Solo laptop, P3, 500mhz, 288mb RAM, running Win98SE. I don't know how or why, but my combo floppy/LS-120 drive is listed as the D: drive, not the A: drive. And some programs will not decompress into anything other than the A: drive (WD Data Lifeguard Tools, for example).
So how can I get my system to correctly recognize the floppy drive as A: instead of D:? I've looked in the BIOS and don't see any user settable settings there. Many thanks, oh great tech wizards!!
