Crucial ram problem? HOW TO....

Okay, i had some ram i bought off someone in another forum, it is Crucial me DDR266, here are the specs:

CT3272Y265.18T
256 mb, DDR266, CL2.5 ECC

okay, I posted a thread to see if it was compatable with another board i was running, it was not. Well I am trying to sell it (not for much and is pending to someone already) but, here is the catch, how can i find out what MB's support it? I know i can find out if my MB's will support it at Crucials site, but I would like to do the opposite, put in the ram numbers and have it show the MB's that support it? That way I could post what MB's it would work for? Get it? I did e-mail Crucial, but as i did not buy directly from them and from a third party, not sure if i will get any reponse. Thanks

yeah, that is what i am trying to figure out? I have that info already, but thanks for posting, i just want to know what kind of system/mobo/server this ram is compatable with? That way i can list it with the ram so people can figure if they can use it or not?

It looks like it should work in most P4 mobos. ECC is usually seen with Intel boards. Any board that supports ECC and DDR266 should work.

well, sold it to somebody on another forum, but did warn him that it was ECC, he bought it anyway...so, it's his now...Thanks for the replys, crucial seems to be kind of a pain? Unless you match it with your system...

Any ECC memory, be it crucial or otherwise needs a board that supports ECC memory.
