upgrading question

Hi

I'm planning to get some more ram, but i am not sure which to get. I am not sure of the model of the mother board, but it is at least 4 years old. 700Mhz, 256mb(66Mhz / two cards). I have two more slots available. Thanks in advance.

aida 32

find and download a program called aida 32 and run it
it will tell you everything you need to know about your computer
should be able to choose ram easily

never mind aida 32 is no longer available for download sorry!

It probably takes PC100 or PC133, in fact I'm pretty much sure of it. I'd buy PC100 and see if that works.

Sandra should also tell you what you need to know about your memory, but I agree with ArcticFox.

I have a 512 of ram. Does it make my computer go faster or the CPU speed itself?
