Dings?

Hey guys, Over the past few days I have been hearing dings when I'm using the computer. Sometimes it's one..and sometimes it's many. It's very annoying. I made sure it wasnt my pop-up blocker. Does anyone know what it is?

Umm, do you have a sound set to "ding" when you perform a certain task?

Try disabling Windows sounds or changing to the default to see if it still does it.

A run down on your OS and Apps you're running might help as well.

Quick thought, not sure of your setup, but when my LAN is bieng quirky I get dings when my e-mail is checking and there is no connection.. as I said just a thought
