sometimes my brower will just stop working. I'll be browsing and then click on a link and the little window flag in the upper right corner will keep going but the site will go no where. Its not locked up, its just not going anywhere. Any ideas?

I'm running Windows XP with all of the updates and whatever the latest version on IE is......6 I beileve. My internet connection is a T1 with a Cisco router and firewall.
Most times that happens to me, it's the either site is having problems or too many people are hitting it at the same time. Like with what happens here sometimes.
this is definatly a problem though......when it happens I can't pull up any sites.....sometimes I can close the browser and open it again and it will work, sometimes it just takes some time.
Yup, I go through nearly the same exact thing. But usually I can just pull up a known good site and hang there for a while until trying the slow site again.
mozilla firefox 3 is almost successful as IE. if you need a browser as not have lag try Safari browser. is a very simple browser probably alomst simply browser in the world.
