everthing should be grounded thru the cableing
be sure to use the stand-off's when mounting the mobo to the case

the mobo grounds to the case okay through the metal supports AND connections through the ide and floppy cables to the disk cases to the case AND through the power supply to the case (and the ground (earth) wire in the mains lead if you run on a grounded mains supply) AND through expansion cards to the case AND com/printer ports etc to the case. starting to get a picture? lol. lots of ground connections in a pc. when i say the metal supports, i mean the hexagonal standoff posts, not always used on all cases though.

lexan a type of plastic? like perspex? you may get static problems with that. and interference to radio/tv etc. look into some nickel screening spray, but it may not look pretty. never used it, but i'd imagine it would be silvery when applied.
