4 Speaker sound on Soyo mobo

ok i have the SOYO KT600 Dragon Plus with the onboard Via sound in the manual it says to Plug you front speakers into the line-out and you back speakers into the line-in. Ok i did this buy I am unable to figure out where to tell the computer to use all four speakers (use the Lin-in as an out)...
1.I have looked in the bios dont see it there.
2. dont see a setting in the windows sound box.
3. dont know where to start Direct X at.. is it in there.
4. dont see nor does the manual tell me of a jumper to set.
5. Running win2kpro with an Athlon 3000
