Which card is better

I am putting a system together for my son using parts I have lying around.

So far it looks like being a Duron 1.3 with 512mb DDR ram and a 40gig WD hard drive.

My only choice left to be made is the video card. I have 2, a GeForce 2 GTS and a GeForce 4 MX-440.

Can someone tell me which is the better card.

Like most teenagers he wants to be able to play games tho he does realise he won't be able to run them at high res.

The GeForce4 MX440 is the better card. You are correct in that he won't be able to use all the eye candy, but it should work well. I have played Counter Strike, Diablo II online, and Castle Wolfenstein with the one in my wife's system.

The mx440 should be able to play most games out their. Thats what I used to play BF1942 for a long time.

i have a mx 440 and i play call of duty, battlefield 1942, etc... not the best graphics, but it works...
