Saving Acrobat Reader Files??

Hi,
I have downloaded a large amount of manuals for Nero 6 Ultra.

I have unzipped and opened them with Acrobat Reader6, the free edition.

So far I have printed out some of them but it would take reams of paper to print everything.
I would like to save those files to CD or Hard Drive but have been unable to do so.
Have you got any suggestions as to how to do that?
Thanks in advance for any help.

not sure I understand

You unzipped the .pdf files (from a zip file I'm assuming?) and opened it with Adobe Reader 6.

Or are you just clicking on a link from a webpage?

Have you tried to right click the link on the webpage and do a "Save As..." ?

Thanks for your answer.
I have downloaded the manuals for Nero6 Ultra (from their home site) and placed them on the desktop. They were zipped.
I unzipped them with "Zip Magic" to MS Word.
The files were not readable and in code when I opened them. Then I used the "open with" command and chose Acrobat Reader 6.

Now the files are readable and I was able to print some of them.
In order to print the whole instruction manual it would take over 200 pages.
I would like to keep those files either on the hard drive or burn them to CD for future reference.
When I click "save"to My Documents from the tool bar nothing seem to happen. At least I can't seem to find where it's placed.

I'm running WinXP Home(SP1). My browser is: Firefox
Sorry, that I didn't make myself clear earlier. Hope that this helpls.

It sounds as if you are opening the file from within the zipped file. Open the zipped file (by double clicking on it) and then right click on the file you wan to save and select COPY. Then browse to where you want the file to reside, and right click, and click PASTE.

With WinXP, you also have the option to drag and drop from the Zipped folder window to any other folder window or your desktop.

Thanks for your reply, Marvinator.

I have unzipped the files and each turned into the M/S Word icon.
If I doubleclick on any of the icons, they open but are not readable. It looks like code.
If I right click on them and choose the "open with" command and I choose Adobe Reader6, they are then readable and also printable.
My question:
Rather than printing all of those files( probably more than 200 pages)
I would like to store them in "My Documents" for accessing as needed. ( They are manual files for Nero 6 Ultra)
Somehow I'm unable to save them to any location.
I guess that I will have to keep them in the PDF Format.

they should have the adobe icon, not word.

when u do "open with" try to check "always open this type of file with this program" (or whatever the exact wording is)

I havemany adobe pdf files saved on cds....should be really straightforward
