XP woes

Ok i got someones computer here thats dead the HDD still works they wanted me to pull some pictures off the drive for them. so i figured i could through the drive in one of my comps take the pics off and burn them but the problem is that their installation of XP is password protected so when i try to access the folder through my box it wont let me what should i do??

I made a username on the 2k machine with the same password and everything as the XP drive but it didnt work what can i do?

tried booting from the XP drive still a no go...what can i do to save this pictures

Try this:

DOS NTFS boot disk to access NTFS partitions in Windows XP 2000 or NT

i can get into the XP hard drive i just cant go under documents and settings and choose the Owner folder which is where it all is

ok i got into it with knoppix....how can i send it to another comp on my network...or where can i get a burning app i can use in linux

it wont let me copy the files to another hard drive on the system so i need to know how to move things to another computer on the network OR burn it to a CD keepind im using Knoppix
