Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Issues

I just recently purchased a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, which now replaces my onboard nForce2, and I've been experiencing some audio issues. I've noticed the occurrence of 'clicks' and 'pops' for the first time when playing my music. It's weird, but I never really heard or noticed it when I was using the nForce, but I don't know if it's a defective sound card or just the downside of having an ultra sensitive card. It isn't really that bad though, a few here and there, only when playing mp3's, and more so on the low bitrate ones, some on high (but it could just be corruption). I don't know if it's the files, or the sound card just picking up more (good and bad) than the nForce, or a faulty card, or what. All this has forced me to use the Creative Media Player and the Clean Up option in the EAX Advanced High Definition Console (which doesn't work fully, but still works; it's not really that bad of a player though, just some bugs and issues I notice that are hard to accept).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you updated the drivers? You can find the latest ones on the manufacturer's website.
