Kids New Toy and have some Questions

HI Folks,
I just got a Compaq Armada 4150 from a friend of mine for free. Here are the specs:

Pentium 150MHz W/ MMX
1.6GB HDD
32MB Memory
Win 98SE

Is there a way i can upgrade the memory?

Would it be possible to speed this thing up?

How do i get into the bios?

Thanks in advance,

Overcooked

You can probably get sd ram for that, if there are slots free.... look up the motherboard version on google for compatibility.

You might be able to get into bios by holding F1, or del durring boot.

that is one sleek system Yeh you should be able to put more memory into it. I have a P1 90mhz with 128mb memory and runs just fine. Just excruciatingly slow.

2.5ghz P4 will do me

Anywho b0red is right, if you have slots free you should be able to put that many more sticks in. e.g. 2 free slots another 2x32mb sticks guaranteed.

It's hard to tell without viewing the motherboard specs.

CMOS entry is accomplished by pressing F10 when the cursor jumps to the top right hand corner of the display, or it displays F10 along the bottom of the screen.
If it does neiter of these it sounds like your diagnostic partition is missing.
Compaqs store the CMOS setup program on a hidden partition on the hard drive. these can be downloaded from compaqs website.

hope this helps
