Hi,
I've recently tried playing some newer games but none of them will run on my pc. This is my current spec:

Intel Pentium III (590MHz)
128MB RAM
nVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64
Windows XP Pro

I want to be able to play games like Battlefield Vietnam and NFS Underground. What should I upgrade to?...bearing in mind that I don't want to spend more than £100.

sorry buddy, but to play BF Vietnam your going to need a whole new system

at least a 2 GHz processor or athlon 2500+ and up (IMO), 1 GB RAM (512 will suffice, but not as well), high end vid card (radeon 9600 and up)

You dont need that much of a system to run newer games, but obviously it makes life nicer. Maybe a doubling of RAM, a 1.5GHz processor, and a middle of the line video card.

Um, nothing really wrong with what you have (590MHz? coo... I think mine is actually 532-1/2) but I would start with some memory. XP and 128M is gonna be kinda cramped.

The Battlefield Vietnam System Requirements are as follows:

OS: WinXP, ME, 2000, or 98
CPU: 933MHz or faster
RAM: 256MB or more
Hard Drive: 2.0Gb free space
Video card: DirectX 9 compatible with 64MB or more (nVidia GeForce 3 or greater, Radeon 8500 or greater)
Internet: (2-32 players): Cable/DSL/faster
