Well from the sounds of it the PS3 is a bunch of crap. I was hoping it to be a extra hard-drive you connect in the back. Also you possibly can't play PS games on it? That is also a load of crap. Sony is only on the concept on it and if they want to make money off of the PS3 then they better make it a connection on the back. Another nice feature is to put some of the upgrades from the PSX onto the PS3 and give it two controler slots so that PS, PS2, and PS3 games can be playied 4 player without a multi tap. But don't worry Sony, multi-taps don't have to become obsolete. Plug one into each slot and play 16 players...I mean making another system is not only a waste of money, but there are going to be ALOT of angry people.
P.S. If you don't know what the PSX is, it is a new HHD+DVD recorder...read the info if your interested. http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/News/Pr...0310/03-1007E/

I don't really care about the rumours. I don't want to get too excited like I did with halflife 2 and now look at the delay.
I don't really console game much either.

Ah no big deal, console systems aren't good anyway. Vice City on my computer looks awesome. My friend got a PS2, and Vice City looks horrible on it. Phosphorescence makes games played on a TV look terrible. There are streaks behind everything.

I don't think i'll ever buy a console again. Infact, I am trying to sell my xbox right now. For the money that I would have to spend to get a HDTV to where the console game looks half decent, I can get a kick ass computer and have the game look the best it can be.

You can probably just run the video and sound through your computer. For PS2, use one of those converters that changes 3 RCA connections (video, audio left, audio right) into a coax connection. Plug that coax into a TV tuner card and you have PS2 on your computer. I've never actually tried it, but I assume it would work.

I live in Japan and I know Sony is up to PS3. Sure some of us seen its "PS3" logo. There are dozens of prototype casing for the machine. I don't really follow the PS3 progress. I'm just waiting till it come out but for sure, PS3 is on its way with an amazing features than PS2.

I feel the same way as Bizkit does. I haven't touched my PS2 in at least a year until today when I played MLB 2003 with my brother because I was utterly bored. Now that I have experienced a computer's gaming potential, I really dont ever want to touch another console. I think the only thing they are good for are sports games.

THe image was real fuzzy becasue the xbox is still at 640x480, or might even be 380x260, one of those real low resolutions. To get the xbox to look decent on a tv/monitor with a higher resolution that the defualt, you have to hook it up via the HDTV kit, which you can't hookup to a computer tv card.

One of these here little babies, and a HDTV
Component AV Cable
PlayStation 2 System
For more sophisticated TVs and monitors that allow component input from the PlayStation 2 system, the Component AV Cable delivers a flawless picture.
and you have yourself one great console. I myself enjoy computer games. But to me a console is more versitile. You can take it to a friends house, you don't have to suffer with all the agonating lag. I hate lag of everything in the world. I even have a good computer and RTCW still lags! ...Everquest runs nicely though. But other games, it's just agonating. I'd prefer a console over a PC anyday (well unless it was my best friends Dad's friends computer...that thing is GODLY.)
