Windows ANSI Character map special characters

I need to figure out the ANSI character map for whitespace characters, specifically TAB and CARRIAGE RETURN.

Does anyone know these?

I am unsure, All I found was

"
It is not legal to print any other control characters (0 to 9, 11 to 31, 127 to 159). You may not print even common formatting characters such as tab (control-I), carriage return (control-M), or page break (control-L). "

Drat!

I'm trying to use VBA to create the body of an e-mail message within a Lotus Notes mail object and would really like to insert carriage returns / newline instructions.

So far it is working, but it wants to display chr(182) in the message whenever I type chr(10) within the string that I am using to concatenates all the data elements used within the body an e-mail message.

Problem fixed - the compiler was malfunctioning. Rebooting the PC solved the problem. I was then able to recompile the code and the char swap problem went away.
