Media Player woes

Hi,

I have treid to use Media Player for the first time and it stops opening and says "an internal application error has occurred".

I don't know what version of Media Player it is suffice to say it's on a Sony Vaio Laptop thats 4 months old running XP Pro.

Does anyone know how I can find out what the problem is or what my next step should be. I don't see it anywhere under the add/remove programs list either.

Cheers

sorry i've no idea wot might be wrong with your version of WMP but rather than try to fix it, it might be easier to download WMP 9 free from the link
