Athlon XP 2800 cpu running at 1.6ghz

Hello,

I recently upgraded my cpu to a 2800 xp. When i first rebooted it showed it running at 1.25ghz. i manually adjusted the pins on the motherboard to 166, and cleared the cmos. It now shows it running at 1.67ghz. What should I also do to get it running at the(2.08 ghz) right speed. I've fiddled aroung in the Bios but I really dont know what to do there.

What is the brand/model of your motherboard?

Never mind I figured out the
CPU speed= CPU Ratio x CPU Clock ie. 166 x 12.5
DDR speed= DDR CPU Ratio x CPU Clock

Everything running as should be 2.08ghz

I am trying to get my athlon xp 2800 to run at a respectable speed i can only get 1250 it on an msi k7n2 mobo set at 133 anybody got this set up can let me know how to setthe bios up? HELP
