Photo Problems

Don't take this the wrong way, but i have an exclusive image or Ryu, Ken, and there Master. and I just happned to download the image. The image is in Jpg form i printed the image and then i tried to delete it, but it wouldn't delete. The i tried to move and rename it and it didn't work this message kept appearing.

Cannotdelete file: The file name you specified is invaild or to long.
Specify a diffrent file name


And it says the same thing for, renaming and moving file.......
Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Right click the file and select properties. See if the attributes are set to read-only, archive or hidden. Take the check out of whichever box it is in and click apply. I donno if this will help or not, but it may. You can also run scandisk on that drive and if there is something wrong with the file name, scandisk may discover that and give you an error..then you can authorize scandisk to fix it.

Thats a good one Gomer... I am always looking for utilities. Its been awhile since I have had a file I could not get rid of, and I generally go to DOS, get in the folder where the file resides and deltree the he** out of it..this will be a lot simpler.

Common were is everyone that stupid image still won't delete and the web site gomer gave din't help at all.

All you need is the exe file. Are you familiar with DOS at all, as you need to use this in the fashion you would a DOS program.

dellater.exe <filename>

Say for instance you had a file called example.jpg stored in the folder C:\Program Files
First save dellater.exe into the root directory c:\
You would go to run and type
C:\dellater.exe c:\program files\example.jpg

reboot and it should be gone.

Hey Guys i think i know what the problem is but still cannot fix it.

The file name starts with "Con."

can Con. make act in this way. Please help me if you can.

I think i'll try that application buti can't get it to work.
i have been typing (dellater.exe) inside the Run search bar but nothing comes up but an error message.

I have found another amazing proble that image file has a
MS-DOS name which is: CONHAR~1.JPG

does that mean anything, if it does please let me know. i think the person whom i got the image from did some tricky stuff becuase i have downloaded Apps that delete images and they don't detect it for some stuid reason.

So please help....Someone please
