spilot is on a distinguished road

my soon to be tower comes with two...i'm thinking about getting a few more, just to keep things cool. what are some of your favorites?

What? lol

The Zalman fans are a good quiet type for about 4.99 a fan. U can go too far with your fans and then the air won't be really moving and there would be actually less cooling. U can put a couple more in there just make sure u have them going reasonable directions (in, out....) so that there is sufficient air flow. GL

Good luck finding that in a 80mm fan or smaller.

I have an Antec SOHO mid tower with two exhaust 80 mm in the back and two intake 80 mm fans in the front...actually, one of the front intake fans fit into the hard drive bay but near the front, so it does drag in some ambient air. In addition to these 4 fans is the power supply exhaust 80 mm fan.

All of my fans (except the power supply) are ball bearing high quality fans. Sleeve type bearing fans usually are noisier than the ball bearing types..this is possibly because the fan blades are what creates the noise..but the better designed and quality fans have better designed fan blades.
