i ordered a chair mat since for some strange reason they used to be like 15-16 bucks in a local office max but now are 40 bucks. anyhow, i get the box and its sorta mangled which isnt such a big deal BUT the thing is completely folded like a tri fold wallet. and as you know the plastic is a real thick plastic, hard to bend. this thing has been in between my box spring and mattress for 2 days now hoping for it to flatten out. how f'in lame. like it would have been that hard to ship it in a flat box rather than the 5 foot tall square box they sent it in.

funny enough, i didnt get a response yet from amazon since i wrote them. im gonna wait for this thing to flatten out i guess, im not shipping it back.

If you can find a phone number for Amazon.com, you might have better luck. I have only received replies on about half the messages sent to them via their website 'contact' form.

as for the mat, is it possible to simply 'fold' it backwards to flatten it? In other words, tri-fold it the opposite of how it is folded now.

nah, cant fold it the opposite way. man im telling you this thick plastic is no joke. if i really wanted to i can bring home a heat gun and have some fun but with my luck my girlfriend will think its a hair dryer and melt her face like the guy from raiders of the lost ark.

I had ordered a set of knives and had one missing from the order. I contacted them and they were real nice. I recieved the missing knife a few weeks later.

trust me if that was an option, i would have but like i said.....theyve jacked up the prices over here for some reason. i think it should be good in another day or ill try bill's sun theory.
