Virtual Client Software?

Here's a question: is there any software out there that can be run on a server that will emulate the attachment of clients to a server. W2003Enterprise to be more precise. The class I'm taking is OK, but since all the PC's in the room are servers, there's little we can do to get our feet wet other than pretending we're in a full-fledged network. And running out of a book just doesn't get the info to stick. I don't have enough spare PC's at home to setup anything up 4real.

Nothing 'free' that I know of... but you could try VMware Workstation or Microsoft's VirtualPC.

Both have 'trial' periods of 30 or 45 days.

vmware is pretty nice. just make sure you got plenty of ram
i haven't been able to figure out the networking stuff in it yet though. i'd like to be able to access the internet with the virtual system.
