Sounds like you got all the components for a nice system. I like the Aspire cases. The removable mobo tray is a VERY nice feature. Your case might also have the drive bays that load from the side. That's what I have on my Super X-Alien case. Really sweet.

Not too bad. You might have some issues installing Windows on that hard drive if you plan on using that as your system drive.

Wow that's a nice computer for someone who does a lot of photoshop or video editing (I am assuming you have an onboard video card). To make that case look really cool is if you just painted it black! But, overall cool system!

What vid card are you using?

Also make sure you partition that big 160 drive into 10 - 16GB partitions for nice fast access times. (j/k).. heh heh..

nice system.. you'll enjoy the cpu... and the motherboard is great.

Or at least a 10GB partition at the beginning of the drive for the OS and program installations. I've found that to be about the best route. The storage partitions don't much matter as far as seek and read times go.

Because windows can only recognize up to a 137GB HDD. Any larger drive will need SP1. One way you can do it is if you slipstream SP1 with the XP cd.
