Linux for Sparc

What is a good, and where can I get, a version of Linux that'll run nicely on a sparc 5?

Its an good old pizza box that I've not had running since the old version of solaris went with the last drive I blew up

Now I've found a replacement I want to resurrect the old bird to do... well dunno yet, but I'll find summat

UltraLinux is a good information source for Linux on the Sparc platform. Most popular Linux vendors offer a Sparc distribution. Debian would probably be your best bet IMHO.

BSD is also another viable option. Many people claim BSD offers better performance on the Sparc platform as compared to Linux, but I have never tried deploying BSD on the Sparc platform.

Not forgetting that you can download Solaris 9 for free if the Binary Code License its distributed under is acceptable to you (media kits also available for a price).
