one more vote here for anyDVD used with CloneDVD

takes about 20 minutes to rip a dvd, maybe 40 or so if it has to be compressed at all.

i use nero to burn the files tho... like clockwork

Yeah CloneDVD + AnyDVD = ABC of DVD copying

CloneDVD at http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_dvd/index.html

AnyDVD at http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html (Upgrades free)

CloneCD at http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonecd.html (Updates free)

I use them all.

CloneDVD + AnyDVD for ripping and copying my DVDs. There’s no need for Nero really. AnyDVD can also break copy protection of audio CDs so it can be incorporated with CloneCD.

CloneCD for protected CD-ROMs and audio CDs that I own but want to working copy too.
