mpeg to vcd-svcd (Nero 5.5)

I just got Roxio Easy Media Creator to make a picture slide show to play on my dvd. My dvd is vcd and svcd compatible so that isn't a problem..
I saved these movies files as an Mpeg and wanted to convert them as a vcd with nero but then I get a small pop up window that says: The video file is not video cd compliant. The video will be re-encoded to video cd format before burning. But it doesn't finish.. Burn process failed. I am putting these videos on a cd-r or at least trying to.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Or another way to go about this?

I've never been able to burn a VCD from mpeg files to play on a DVD player with either Roxio or Nero. I use VCDEasy V 1.15 Get it here: http://www.pc-magazin.de/datatip/com...66&fileid=2245 The site is in Germany, but the application is English and free. It'll burn to a compliant VCD 2.

I just tried it.. I went to add a file and it said the video may not play correctly cause it requires autopadding??

Thanks for the link.

Send a message via ICQ to JohnE.
Try letting it do it's video conversion thing and then burn it to the Nero Image Drive as an .nrg (or some such extension) image first. Then you can defrag and burn the image. I've done it this way before and it has worked for me.

Alternatively, make a back up copy to a temp dir and let VCDEasy try to fix the autopadding thing. I've had to do that a few times and the resulting file was fixed and made to be mpeg/VCD compliant.

Naz, just let it create the files. It always says something needs autopadding. VCDEasy will fix it!

I let it go and it created 3 files

1)Bin File
2) Cue FIle
3) XML Document

I had added 3 files to this program.. I was hoping tp convert all 3 files to vcd and then burn them all to one disk. Are thay all in these 3 files? Do I burn these three files to disk?

OKay, I have the pictures on there but no audio?
I came across this web site:

http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?n...uides&id=Start

It explained how to burn. Do you know why no audio?
