Child Domain over VPN

I am getting ready to deploy a child domain at a new propertie. I am going to make the connection to the parent domain over a BOVPN using 2 watchguard boxes.

I have not done this before and i have tried to prepare myself as much as possible. I was hoping that there may be some here that have had exparience with this and might be able to offer some advice as far as things to watch out for. Troubleshooting tips and guidance.

I haven't, but I think replication and related attributes are one aspect you need to adjust to fit the connection you will have between the sites.
