Tell me about Call Of Duty.
I got the demo of this game and it looked pretty good. The game has a certain smoothness to it. When turning, I have a steady 60fps (same as BF) but it doesn't have that weird lag BF has. The way the weapons work seems pretty cool; exchange only 1 weapon (like Counter-Strike) instead of all weapons (like BF). The characters look natural when they move (like JK2) instead of sliding and looking totally weird (like BF).
I'm thinking of getting this game but I'm not completely sure I should. The basic mechanics of the game seem really good, but I'm not sure how the multiplayer will be (I basically never play single player games).
Does this game have good multiplayer?
Is there a cheater problem?
Are there any good mods?
Are the vehicles any good?
Is the game based around vehicles like BF1942 or is it based on being a lone gunman like DOD mod for Half-Life?

I can`t speak for the multiplayer portion (Haven`t tried it too much yet)... But the single player campaign alone is worth it. It has a much more epic feel than Medal of Honor did, and a more gritty one than BF1942.
Played it all the way through, non stop. Pretty much an adrenaline rush the whole time. I don`t think you`d be dissapointed.

I haven't played any multiplayer either, but can honestly say that in my opinion the SP game is about the best military FPS game I've ever played.
Very atmospheric, with an authentic and realistic feel considering that the levels based around actual events.
Even if you were only playing the game thru to the end once, I'd say it's more than long enough to justify buying it.

don't think there are any vehicles in the multiplayer, but its not lone gunman. You're with a team.
Agreed on above the single player campaigns are great, I'm not a huge fan of FPS but the gameplay was excellent.

Cheaters are everywhere, count on Anti-cheaters if you are going to play Multiplayer. No vehicles in Mutiplayer either. About the mods I dont know. Singeplayer and Multiplayer are great. I prefer Multiplayer though, but start with SP to learn how the game works. Thats what I did at least. The game is in my opinion good in general, but I still prefer MoH:aa over it.

I have CoD sitting on my hard drive but I haven't started on it yet. The demo was awesome! Extremely immersive, realistic, and the graphics are great. So is the sound too, I'm glad I have my Z560s because it makes it that much better.
My advice is to go get it, it's at GoGamer for $35, or you could get a used copy for cheaper.

Great game in sp or multiplayer, has a more realalistic feeling to it than the other war games out there.
Wait until you get to the Stalingrad part of the game.
