Kids mouse settings

i am using logitech mouseman traveler corded mouse with my laptop and i have a little problem with its settings. no matter to what number i set the # of lines to scroll at a time in the wheel tab, everytime i restart the computer it goes back to 1. what am i doing wrong? i clicked apply and ok like so many times and it still goes back to 1. it's not a big deal but i have to change the settings everytime i go browse the web and it's starting to be annoying. can anyone help? thanx

I am now thanx 2u yesterday i reinstalled the whole thing with the software that came with the mouse and it looked completely different than before which of course totally confused me now I have the newest version so hopefully it'll work okay, thanx again
