Have you recently "upgraded" AOL? I have to laugh at that term, as all they do is give AOHell finer-tuned control over your system. I swear 95% of AOL's programmers' days are spent writing code in order to limit the bandwidth available for use by their customers.

If so, you might try going back to the previous version of AOL. I know some older versions of AOL allow you to use a great program called StayConnected, which keeps you active by simulating mouse movement, but newer versions of AOL have worked around the program.

I am actually online moveing the mouse and it just kicks off, I just recently reformatted my hard drive and reloaded aol and all of my modem drivers, this is when it started happening. I have another computer thats older and have no problems with it. It is a v90 modem. I may switch them out.

That may be part of your problem. Your phone line itself.

I switched to a different phone line in the house, that was the problem. I guess I should of followed the KISS principle. I guess I will try a new cord there now and if that doesn't work call my local phone company.
Thanks for the help
