I hate Spyware

...And I currently run ad-aware, which has been great up until this point.

But now I think I have something that AA can't get rid of...are there any others I can try?

Don't forget to update Ad-Aware definitions. Also get Spybot and HijackThis and also a software firewall (ZoneAlarm or Sygate) if you don't already have a hardware one.

Some of the more nasty programs can't be removed by Ad Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy. If you can get the name of it run a search on google and you should come up with removal instructions. Also check the list of installed programs in the Add/Remove programs window and run a search for any unusual listings.

I recently found spywareguard, made by the same people as spyweare blaster, it runs in memory and watches and stops spywhere before its installed. I went to the bonzi buddy site and it pops up like a virus scanner and says "this site is trying to install bonzi buddy an know spyware...." and allows me to cancel it's attempt to install. Like a virus protection for spyware.
