video card trouble

Hello, I have a problem with a radeon 9200se card as to when you play anykind of 3-d game, you get little dots or specs flickering on the screen as well as sometimes the shapes of objects have lines jutting out from them, that will just get on your nerves. I have tried reinstalling the card, rolling back the driver, updating the driver, still to no avail. No matter what I do with it, I still get those king of problems. System specs are as follows: nvida n2pap lite motherboard, athlon 2800+ barton cpu, 512mb ddr 400. The system temp stays at about 33c most of the time. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you check the device manager? Also, what about your Motherboard Drivers? Did you install those too?

Yes, I installed the drivers with the cd that the board came with. The device manager lists the radeon and says that everything is working fine, but I still get the graphics problem. I have a program to update the bios and did that as well. Except for playing games the computer runs exceptionally well. I forgot to mention that my os is xp pro and all the available updates have been downloaded and installed.
