Logo Testing

I recently had problems with my IE and try to install ^ but since my Win XP is a gift ..Ha.. I canot get past this new logo testing that keeps stopping my install..Any advice to get around this

I am trying to install IE 6 and at the end of the install is state that this application can be installed because teh OS has failed MS logo testing and there is no buuton to continue just ok nd cancel both of which kill the install and I make no progress, I checked around and since my copy of Win Xp is not registered I assumed that this was why and unfortunatley I cannot register it. I could use some help
