graphics card to hot???

hi guys just a quick question

is 60 degrees hot for a leadtek fx5600?

it has a fan already and its big and chunky so i would have thought it would do something

no heatsink though i dont think

Actually I think that 60C it's not that hot for a graphics card.
I think they can withstand more heat than a normal CPU but the cooler the better.

LOL ya, it has to have something to hold the fan on, which is usually a heatsink.

Sounds about right for the temp if that is under load. My 9700pro ran at 60-65°C under load when I first got it. Now it is ncie and cool @ around 43°C. Water cooling has its perks.

how do you take your temps????

right now i am trying to find a way to tell how hot my vid is running? i have a iceburg HSF, could i plug that into the 3 pin MB case fan slot and see if it gives a reading?
