Kids NTFS boot disks

You can go to bootdisk.com and download bootdisks for fat/fat32 partitions that boot to a dos command prompt. Is there a boot disk(s) that will do the same for NTFS partitions? The make boot files on W2k and XP only send you to setup installation screen, which you can easily get to by booting from your w2k/xp OS cd. I've seen other boot disks that only allow you to read the files on ntfs partitions without modifying them like at partition-recovery.com So, is there a ntfs boot disk that will send me a dos command prompt like the w95/98 boot disks?

i dont really understand what you're trying to do. what do you need a command prompt for? the accual boot disk can not have an ntfs partition but if it will help you can get to a command prompt by pressing f8 on bootup

your xp/2000 install cd should have a recovery console option which lets you boot to a dos (like?) environment. if you need to run old dos games or other apps that compatibilty mode won't handle, then you will need to create a fat or fat 32 partition (possibly on a second hard drive). powerquest partition magic is excellent for this type of work, and acronis also do a partition tool.

I was wondering because I got a computer that the boot partitions is messed up, and I don't really want to use the recovery console to fix it. But there isn't any other way I suppose.
