Can i convert S-Video to play it thru my SVGA monitor?
Ages ago i wont a DVD player from MacDonalds... quite a good one actually, considering it was free. While i do own a TV, it's not with me at the moment, and i'd quite like to hook it up to my computer monitor.
Unfortunately, my monitor does not have SCART or S-Video inputs, for obvious reasons. I do however have two standard SVGA connectors on the back.
Can i take the S-Video signal from the RCA-style plug on my DVD player and convert it into some other signal that my monitor will recognise?
Basically, i wanna watch DVDs on my computer monitor, but my computer doesn't have a DVD drive and my monitor only has SVGA connectors.
I know this is a long shot, but worth a try.
Thanks for any help!!
