50% off MCSA/MCSE tests!
According to the back of my Server 2003 book, I can get 50% off my testing fees by showing my student ID at the testing center.
I was unable to find anything at the moment on MS's website about this, as I'm curious as to if my student ID will work at ANY testing center, or only the one we have on campus (our book is not campus special). This comes in handy, as this college among many others offers online classes. By enrolling in one of these, you can not only complete the class from home, but qualify for the discount. I don't even think it has to be a computer course...but I'm not sure since I can't find any details. I'll have to talk with some of the staff here to see what they know about it.
You will probably have to at least travel to the college for the student ID photo, though...not something you would want to do JUST for a discount on one test, but if you want to take some courses and/or multiple cert exams, this can save some bucks.
