Win 2000 Beginning Dump Of Physical Memory

This message is there on normal bootup or Safe Mode boot up, tried to reinstall Win 2000 and i can't do it because the message is still there.

I verified in the BIOS and everything is normal.

***Stop : 0x0000001E(0xC0000005,0x00000007,0x00000000,0x0000 0007) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical Memory dump completely

it gives me this error message, the computer is rebooting all the time and goes to the same process again...

I can't reinstall the OS or bootup the computer properly, i removed all 3 stricks of RAM (192 Meg total), tried them one at the time and it's still the same. I disconnected CD-ROM, CD-burner and floppy, rebooted and it's still there. The S.M.A.R.T doesn't show any HD problems.

What is the next step.

Thanks for your time.

A computer at my school had this exact problem and the teacher fixed it.
I will ask him what he did to fix it when I go back, this Monday.

This is a software/driver issue related to Win2k. It can be caused by the o/s or drivers or trojan virus. When you said you tried to re-install Win2k, did you format the drive or just try to re-install over the old Win2k?
This looks like it is going to be fun. Go to this website and scroll down to the following title:

Update,

I finally solve the problem with the information provided by elroy.

It was a Trojan that created the problem but the fix was everything but easy.

I was not able to format using a bootdisk, the partition was in NTFS. I have Partition Magic so i use it and created 2 partitions that i formated in FAT 32. I was able to use fdisk /mbr and the regular format c after that and did it twice to be safe.

Win 2000 decided that it was not going to be install. I installed XP Pro. I copied Win 2000 i386 file on the drive, formated c again and installed 2000 using the file on the d drive. Computer is up and running faster than ever. This is one of my friend's computer, he is now happy and he's telling everybody that i'm the best...... thanks guy
